E.ON Energidistribution is Sweden's largest electricity grid owner. Our electricity grid is 143,000 kilometers long, which is equivalent to about three and a half laps around the world. Today, we help private households, companies and municipalities connect to the electricity grid, get a safe and secure electricity supply and be able to switch.
About E.ON Energidistribution:
Since storm Gudrun in 2005, we have weatherproofed 97 percent of the grid and we continue to expand, develop and strengthen it.
There are approximately 60,000 solar cell systems for private individuals connected to our electricity grid.
With remotely controlled grid stations, we digitize our electricity grid, which reduces the risk of power outages and shortens outage times.
We work to strengthen biodiversity in power lines for our regional grid.
Drones help us inspect overhead power lines more efficiently.
