About us
Svenska kraftnät is a state-owned enterprise that serves as the system operator for Sweden’s power system and manages and develops the country’s electricity transmission grid. Svenska kraftnät is also the authority responsible for electricity preparedness, provides supervisory guidance on dam safety, and acts as the supervisory authority for security protection in electricity supply. The organization was established in 1992.
