About us
Jafo AB develops and markets floor drains in plastic and stainless steel for all indoor surface coverings.
Since the company launched the innovation of a floor drain molded from a single piece of plastic in 1973, Jafo AB has continued to innovate and improve water drainage products on the Swedish plumbing market through the Jafo brand.
As part of Vitas Group, Jafo AB is also responsible for the Swedish operations of the Danish company Unidrain. With both Jafo's and Unidrain's designed floor drains in its product portfolio, Jafo AB is a comprehensive supplier of quality products for water-safe and elegant installations.

Rat-Exx
Rat-Exx is an effective, simple, economical and environmentally friendly method of stopping rats. Rat-Exx is placed in the horizontal sewage pipe in the basement / ground floor or in the ground, which then shields the entire property's sewage system at a single point from intrusion of rats. Jafo's rat stopper Rat-Exx was developed based on a patented idea by technologists at Halmstad University. The technology is based on an electrical impulse generator that generates a voltage of up to 500V twice per second, which is not lethal but causes such severe discomfort that the rat gives up and turns around. Rat-Exx prevents a problem in a smooth way that otherwise can escalate without action. Rats thrive where people live in close proximity and are masters at finding their way through a property's sewage system - an opening of just two centimeters is enough for them to get in and further into the property via the sewage pipes.
