About us
What the companies in the RCO Group have in common is that they develop, manufacture and sell services and products within digital locking and security systems. In close collaboration with customers, partners and users, we drive the shift towards a more open, safer, more secure and more sustainable society by creating secure solutions for a smooth everyday life where we give people access to places, things and services, in both the smart home and the smart city. RCO Group is currently active in a total of four countries, has over 200 employees and has a turnover of approximately SEK 600 million. We work smart, sustainably and with consideration for ourselves and our environment. We think long-term and protect our resources and a balance in life. In concrete terms, this means, among other things, that environmental considerations are taken into account in every decision and at all levels in the organization. It is a natural part of the companys entire operations. Each company within the RCO Group drives sustainability work and carries out activities in its respective organization.
Products & services
RCO Security
RCO Security develops and manufactures services and products within access and security systems. RCO was founded in 1976 and has established itself as a leading supplier in the Nordic market. Today, RCO is represented in Sweden, Norway and Finland. The head office is located in Stockholm, Solna with production in Järfälla. RCO Security has been wholly owned since 2017 by Novax, which is part of the family business Axel Johnson AB. RCO Security is a member of the industry organizations SäkerhetsBranschen and SEM Group.
Swedlock
Swedlock has been part of the security group RCO Security Group AB since the summer of 2022. RCO Security is 100 percent owned by Novax, which is part of the family business Axel Johnson AB. Swedlocks head office and development department are located in Halmstad, where we also have our manufacturing and sales.
LockR Cylinder
The cylinder is the secure and flexible solution for your lock that fits all types of doors. Since the cylinder is administered in the access control system, it is of course possible to control the authorization, who has the right to enter and at what times. All the user needs to do is top up the authorization from an initiation reader. Temporary authorizations can be issued and if a tag is lost, it is easily blocked in the system. Get rid of keys completely and enter everywhere with the same tag. Simple and convenient.
Alarm
Access control and burglar alarm systems in an integrated access control system simplify administration and thus handling for both users and guards. The common network and the use of the same devices for multiple functions also result in lower costs for both the system itself and the installation. By supplementing the R-CARD 5000 and M5 access control systems with the MEGA module, you get access control, burglar alarm and fire alarm fully integrated in one and the same system. MEGA is approved according to SBSC 1014 alarm class 3/4.

Intercom
With an RCO intercom, you can keep the gate locked to unauthorized people while offering a simple solution for letting visitors in. Connection is made to an analog telephone outlet via copper or ATA box – a solution that allows you to minimize installation costs as you avoid extensive wiring in the property. The device's built-in contactless reader also means that you do not need to supplement the gate with additional access readers for authorized users.
Access control system
With an access control system from RCO, a code tag or card replaces the entire key ring. A key may only fit one or a few doors and cannot be time-controlled. It can also be copied or stolen, which leads to expensive cylinder replacements. In the R-CARD M5 software, you decide for yourself which programming a tag should have. With authorizations, you can control users' access to different doors and what times they should have access. If a tag is lost, you can easily delete or block it via the software. The code tag can also be used to turn the alarm on or off. In other words, the possibilities are many.
