About us
Ultramare started in 1934 with the manufacture and import of jute sacks and in 1954 completely switched to manufacturing air filters. Since February 2025, we have been part of the Deltrian family. Ultramare and Deltrian share the same vision: to ensure cleaner air while maintaining strong values of integrity, loyalty, ambition and commitment to our customers.
Ultramare has a tradition of going its own way and we intend to continue doing so. We don't think it should be that difficult to be environmentally friendly. That's why we have developed our 360 working model where we strive for the best environmental choice at every stage, from manufacturing to delivery and operation. By letting the environment and flexibility towards you as a customer permeate our entire way of working, we are unique in the market. We know that our working model will probably not change the world so that it suddenly becomes sustainable, but it can simplify the choice of air filter supplier for you and it allows us and you to pull our green straw into the stack.

KULING - energieffektiv filtrering
KULING is our most energy-efficient filter, developed to provide low operating costs with high filtration properties and unbeatable dust holding capacity. The revolutionary media provides a high separation rate, low pressure drops and unique dust holding capacity. The synthetic filter KULING is one of the most environmentally friendly filters on the market because the entire product is made of combustible material. Synthetic/plastic filters provide superior strength, which minimizes the risk of damage to the filter material during handling, a prerequisite for optimal function.
Metallfilter
Metal filters can be used as a pre-filter in ventilation systems, but they are mainly used as grease filters and flame retardants in commercial kitchen ventilation. Ultramare's metal filters are available in different materials and sizes.
Pleat och panelfilter
Pleat & panel filters are used to filter out both coarse and fine particles, which means you can use it both as a pre-filter or as a final filter stage to remove smaller (finer) particles. Ultramare has a wide range of pleat & panel filters, which we manufacture in our factory in Trollhättan, in different sizes and materials to suit different applications.

There are many names for molecular filters. The most common is carbon filters, but you may also have heard of chemical filters or gas filters. These are the same thing, just different names for it. Molecular filters are used to remove unhealthy, corrosive and toxic gases from the air that can harm both people and objects. Typical examples of where this type of filter is used are places where bad odors need to be reduced from, for example, garbage, exhaust fumes or cooking fumes, or to protect control rooms in paper and pulp mills. There are a number of different products within molecular filtration that can be used to advantage in offices, hospitals, clean rooms, the paper industry, restaurants, museums and residential buildings.

GUARDIAN AQM - Air Quality Monitoring
Wood’s Guardian AQM is part of an advanced system for companies looking for complete air monitoring capabilities. The Guardian AQM is developed and manufactured in Sweden and features world-class particle sensors. It has a robust, corrosion-resistant housing developed for industrial environments. The interior is designed to be able to connect additional, specialized sensors, such as hydrogen sulfide and ozone, for more extreme environments. The extra space also allows for easier servicing and the external antenna allows for greater range in the building.
